‘They lost everything’: Store owner goes bankrupt after being audited for refusing to pay employee's wages

One store owner played with fire until they got burned… Resulting in them losing their entire business.

But hey, let's start at the beginning, shall we? OP relayed the infuriating tale on Reddit, the place where employees worldwide come to complain about their entitled bosses. OP was working at a mall and was supposed to work a shift, but got told to 'go home' when they arrived. Weird, OP thought. The next day, OP came back to get their check for work they had done in the past couple of weeks, but their boss told them to come back another day. Then the day after that, the same thing happened… All this was not sitting well with OP, who grew a pair and went straight to the mall authorities, who were very helpful and pointed OP in the right direction…
